An aqueous solution of 0.9 percent isotonic sodium chloride. Sodium Chloride 0.9% intravenous infusion is indicated for the treatment of isotonic extracellular dehydration, the treatment of sodium depletion and as a vehicle or diluent of compatible drugs for parenteral administration. Not suitable for injection.
